Intermission A

intermission

noun
1.
a short interval between the acts of a play or parts of a public performance, allowing the performers and audience a rest.

2.
a period during which action temporarily ceases; an interval between periods of action or activity

This is a collection of songs I thought would be deemed appropriate for an intermission. They all happen to be instrumental and that was rather intentional because, at least to me, intermission music somehow deserves to be on the same 'level' as soundtrack music ... Music for action, music for no action!

I titled this particular playlist "Intermission A" because I have a more tranquil, ambient sequel of sorts ("Intermission B") planned for next week.

Out of the Unlike

The shock of the new :

"Do I like this or do I hate this?"

"Will this grow on me?"

Refreshing? Too weird?
This mixtape is filled with a little of both sentiments ...
The thrill of now is here!

Charlie Sanders' MIDSUMMER side B : Summer Nights

Charlie's mix this week is a companion piece to his Summer Days Mix ... And boy is it thrilling!

It makes one wanna drive around with the windows down ... it makes one wanna throw a crazy late night party, complete with a huge punch bowl, confetti, streamers, costumes and party hats ... best of all, it makes one actually ENJOY these hot nights of August!

Charlie himself has this to say about his most excellent play list:

"This mixtape is perfect for night time festivities.
This will be my last mix for a while ... I will still come through with my fall mix and then bounce back with some mixes next year ... they will all have different themes."

As always,

*** ENJOY ***
