So ... why dark Spring?
As always, I'm overjoyed that the "green season" has arrived, but this year (at least where I'm living) it arrived with alarming earliness. Even the last days of February were hot and sunny. Plants were bursting into bloom. Insects were in flight.
Pessimistic thoughts of global warming and climate change riddled (and continue to riddle) my brain.
I felt that as a measure of "therapy" and dealing with the changing environment around me, it would be best to be productive and create a soundtrack for what's happening and how I'm taking it all in.
Just to balance everything out, I'll make a "Bright Spring" play list next week! After all, it really is a season to celebrate.
