focal point : Raymond Scott, phase 2

Raymond Scott is fascinating, inspiring & underrated ... In his early career, he created fast-paced, quirky Jazz that would later be chopped & screwed by Carl Stalling to become well-known Looney Toons cartoon music. But the Raymond Scott I will be focusing on is the same man, later in his career, inventing his own synthesizers (such as the Clavivox and Electronium) in the late 1940's & becoming an electronic music pioneer. Scott recorded futuristic electronic compositions for use in television and radio commercials as well as records of entirely electronic music.

As always,

*** ENJOY ***
