This PTR episode finds us shining a light on the early years (1981-1991) of the truly extraordinary and somewhat underrated musical beauty of Rhode Island’s own Throwing Muses, a band fronted by stepsisters Kristin Hersh & Tanya Donelly whose complex, jangly tunes contained shifting tempos, intricate chord changes and surreal lyrics!
