Merry Psychic Tuesday!!!
This PTR episode's feature is called “Habibi Funk (an eclectic selection of music from the Arab world)” and it focuses on a sultry style of music that historically never existed as a musical genre! These vintage “funk” songs were created in places far from another and under very different circumstances. Some were written and recorded during war times, others in exile. Despite the differences, there is a definite musical connection between them.
