Well, it snowed and iced over recently which was quite beautiful and all that ...

The night that it was all really coming down, I drug a mannequin outside and poured water over her ... here's the sorta spooky results of her frozen fate =

Oh yeah! Last week, Beth Ragland who made the excellent "Bad Muffin 2010 Favorites" mix gave Psychic Tuesday a nice plug on the Birmingham Magazine blog ... Thanks, Beth!!!

"If you have not already taken a look at local artist/musician Paul Cordes Wilm’s blog Psychic Tuesday, please take a look. The blog is primarily a collection of compilations/mixes by himself as well as anyone who follows that wishes to participate. The downloadable/streaming mixes are usually edited as one mp3 and come with their own custom cover artwork.

This Tuesday, I submitted my “bad muffin 2010 favorites” mix. It is chocked full of my favorites of the year. I had a hard time narrowing it down. 2010 was a good year for music! Paul also created his annual best of mix entitled, “How to Listen To Now 2010.” We actually share 2 of the same tracks (we’re psychic!!) but otherwise have a full spectrum of 2010 listening goodness.

Check them out here:

Happy Psychic Tuesday!

Speaking of oh yeah, you should definitely check out Hayley and Katie's awesome blog,
Mashed Potato Radio which has some great mixes and videos chock full of pure rock n roll gold

One more thing before the music videos start ... Remember last week I told you that Man Or Astroman?'s Brian Teasley proposed to his long-time girlfriend Merrilee Challiss onstage at the New Year's Eve show?

Well I edited the video footage for him and here it is =

It is now VIDEO TIME ...

This past week, I chanced on this page which talked about a David Lynch video contest ... Ever the unpredictable, he's recently released a digital single in which he SINGS on both tracks (both me & Ryan totally love "Good Day Today"!) ... Anyway, he had a contest to see who could make the best video for either song ... and you can look at all the finalists HERE ...

David Lynch contest winner for his song "Good Day Today" =

David Lynch contest winner for his song "I Know" =

Here's a good winter video ... Rebecca Reynolds mentioned this song by Decoder Ring when listing good "cold weather songs" ... thanks, Rebecca! =

And on a polar opposite note, here's an totally anti-cold (and very mental) video by MGMT that Peter sent me ... danke, mein bruder! =

Lisa Cordes posted this 'un saying : "Completely fascinated with this" (cheers, Lisa!) ... I am too =

Here's a hot fresh new one from Deerhoof =

And here's a slightly trippy one from The Suzan =

Wow ... this new Destroyer video is crrrraaaazy ... his new album Kaputt" comes out 1/25 !!! =

Tom Bonner posted this by AFX ... (thanky!) I dig all the archaic NYC footage =

Looky! No Age were on Letterman! =

And now for a spot of dessert =

Walker (cheers, dude) turned me on to this madness (my God! haha) =

It makes me wonder ... did this video inspire the next one, or vice-versa?! =

And last but not least, Laura sent me this wonderfully surreal clip from a Japanese film ... I wanna take a ride on a bus like that! Thanks, Laura! =
