This is a compilation of songs taken from Youtube videos that have been slowed down (time-stretched) a considerable degree, transforming them into completely different musical entities.
Each song, after being time-stretched, becomes a beautiful ambient and lush piece of sound. The difference between the alteration and the original song is not only amazing, but pretty startling.
Each of the time-stretched songs I've included in this mix in their entirety are actually 23-30 minutes in length, which would make an HOURS-long (!) listen, so I only included excerpts (the 1st 5-10 minutes of each song) ... Listening to the mix from start to finish is, I admit, a rather psychedelic and other-worldly experience!
As always ...

Below are 4 examples of time-stretched videos. I find that the biggest difference in listening to just the time-stretched music from a video and watching the actual video is that, without the video, the music is out of context and you accept it for what it is (or what it has become). Watching the video, I find, requires more patience, but is equally fascinating!
and now for some
