The Far Off Sounds Mix by Urbandy

....Wow. This week's mixtape is simply incredible. I can't stop listening to it, because it seems I can pretty much do anything to it, from painting to washing dishes to gazing at stars to pushing a shopping cart to solving murder mysteries to blowing bubbles to setting a dinner table for 80 ...

And who created this amazingly playable audio collage of a mix? Why it's Urbandy (aka Andy Stewart). You may or may not recall that Urbandy made an intense Summer mashup waaaaay back in 2009 ... You can check that out HERE.

Andy informed me that this particular mix is being officially presented by Step Pepper Records, but is technically the sequel to the Summer mashup mixtape he did for Psychic Tuesday many moons ago ... When I asked him what the inspiration was behind such a powerfully great mix, he explained:

"An accident leaves an astronaut stranded in deep space with only his radio to keep him company. He begins to hear far off sounds—strange signals from another world. Little does he realize, the radio is actually broken."

Step Pepper Records has this to say about it:

Urbandy has been astro-traveling and he’s brought back some real space oddities. The Far Off Sounds is bursting with remixes, mash-ups, familiar names, dense sound collage, weird samples, and a bunch of old school breaks.
Have you ever been lost in space, or drifted among clouds of stars? Have you ever heard the crackle of Earth’s radio signals from a billion light years away? Have you ever crash-landed on a distant planet? Or witnessed the omnipotence of a planet-sized super being? Do you dare venture into the abyss?
At the edge of space, lost and alone, no one can resist the Far Off Sounds.

Here's a cool ass promo for it =

And now, you can go RIGHT HERE to both listen to and download Urbandy's "The Far Off Sounds" mix ... soooo goood.

Thanks again for all the ear tingling soundz, Andy!!!!!!
