Brad Davis' Psychic Toothday Mix

This supernatural, otherworldly mixtape was created for you by none other than Mr. Brad Davis of one of Birmingham's finest bands, The Broken Letters. Brad also made another incredible P.T. mix a couple years back called the Krautrock Mixx. You can check that out HERE.

This time around, Brad overwhelms our ears with blasts of sonic ambience and waves of tonal satisfaction. I think it's perfect for sitting indoors during a summer thunderstorm. Or maybe you can even freak out yer neighbors by blaring it out yer windows during tomorrow nite's fireworks!!!

I asked Brad what was on his mind when he put the playlist together and he told me

Appropriate as this mix really is about time travel- or at least the ability of music to alter one's perception of time... These tracks do that for me. Hopefully the listener will experience similar results.

Time travel? Wow!
I'm gonna put it on again and listen with those intentions!
Thanks again for the mind-bending sounds, Brad!!!

You may download Brad's mix RIGHT HERE.

and directed by the amazing Paul Cordes Wilm

Heads up! There's a new vinyl compilation showcasing Alabama Garage, Surf and Punk bands (my band, Nowhere Squares is one of them!) kickstarter and they need yer support!
