Here is a mixtape filled with confetti, noisemakers and many thrilling songs to ring in an exciting new year!!!

>>>>>>>VIDEOS ARE NOW<<<<<<<
1st up, I hereby dedicate this excellent song by The Zombies to my one and only Ryan!
2ndly, I had to include this very appropriate one from The Walkmen
Speaking of appropriate ... 3rdly, Beach House released this "home movie-ish" music video for their song "New Year" TODAY!
4thly, dig it! The Breeders have reunited (the "Last Splash" line up!) and are practicing "New Year" for their 2013 tour!
5thly, Dangerous Minds posted Andy Warhol's cult classic, "Chelsea Girls" saying:
"Chelsea Girls has been next to impossible to see since its original release in the 60's at least until it got uploaded to YouTube It looks good and parts of it are “interesting” because you can only hear what’s happening on one side of the split screen and so the silent side becomes somehow more intriguing, but, oh yeah, this is a boring thing to watch. It’s still cool, but yeah it’s boring, if that makes any sense."
6thly, wow ... dig this eery Foot Village trailer ... They're streaming their new album via phone! Awesomeness!
"From the get go, using just drums and voices to make our music, we've been questioning if things need to really get done a certain way. We're hardly Luddites, but technology seems to develop faster than people explore all the uses for it. It's exciting to find a new way to use the things in our lives. Streaming the album through a phone just felt right for what we do as a band, and for the escalated level of mystery this new album has compared to the in-your-face attitude of Anti-Magic."

And lastly, here are 2 excellent videos from earlier this year ...
